Our Founder

Contrell L. Alford

Contrell L. Alford is the founder and driving force behind Alford Property Group LLC. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Contrell is a proud graduate of East High School and The University of Akron. His journey is rooted in hard work, resilience, and a deep commitment to family, faith, and community.
As a devoted husband to his wife, Tiera, and a proud father of six, Contrell places God and family at the center of everything he does. These values are the foundation of both his personal life and his business philosophy.

Growing up in Akron, Contrell experienced firsthand the challenges of affordable housing, including time spent in housing supported by AMHA. Through those experiences, he recognized a common issue—affordable housing was often associated with lower quality, limited care, and a lack of pride in the living environment.

Determined to change that narrative, Contrell and his wife set out to build Alford Property Group with a clear and powerful mission: to redefine affordable housing. Their goal is to provide clean, updated, and well-maintained homes that residents can truly be proud of—without sacrificing affordability.

Today, Contrell leads with vision and purpose, focusing on delivering quality housing, improving communities, and creating opportunities for families to live in homes that reflect dignity, comfort, and care.
